Temporary (student) jobs

Projects include field trials on farms and experimental stations throughout New York State. You will assist in the set-up of field trials, soil sampling, soil fertility and crop monitoring, harvest, sample processing, laboratory analyses and data processing. You will become familiar with all aspects of applied soil fertility research and be exposed to agricultural extension through participation in field days.

No prior experience is required. Applicants should be highly motivated, detail oriented, have an interest in nutrient management and soil fertility research and wish to broaden their research background both in the laboratory and in the field.
